  1. Step 1

    Create your free account

Go to simplelinkbio.com/register and create an account with your email. No credit card. Takes 30 seconds.

💡 Tip: Use the email you check regularly — we send notifications about analytics milestones and product updates.

  2. Step 2

    Pick your username

Your username becomes your public URL: simplelinkbio.com/yourname. Choose carefully — this is your brand URL.

    • Lowercase only, no spaces
    • Hyphens are allowed (eg. my-brand)
    • Must be 3–30 characters
    • Cannot be changed easily later — pick well!

💡 Tip: If your business name is taken, try adding the country code (yourname-fr) or the year (yourname-2026).

  3. Step 3

    Customize your profile

    In the dashboard, fill in:

    • Display name — your name as you want it shown
    • Avatar URL — paste a square image URL (square, ideally 400×400). Tip: use your Twitter/Gravatar profile pic URL.
    • Bio — one sentence explaining who you are and what you do (under 200 chars)

💡 Tip: A good bio answers: who are you? what do you do? for whom? Example: 'Indie musician → folk-pop singles every month + tour dates'.

  4. Step 4

    Add your links

Click + Add Link in the dashboard. For each link:

    • Label — what visitors see (eg. "Listen on Spotify", "Buy my course")
    • URL — paste the full destination link with https://
    • Icon — pick a Lucide icon or an emoji

Drag links to reorder. Toggle the switch to temporarily hide a link without deleting it.

💡 Tip: Put your top 1–2 priorities at the top. Bury everything else. The first 3 links get 70% of clicks.

  5. Step 5

Optimize for Google (the SEO tab)

This is what makes SimpleLink different. In your profile editor, switch to the SEO tab and fill:

    • Meta title (50–60 chars) — what shows in Google results. Example: "Alice Dupont — folk-pop singer · tour dates"
    • Meta description (140–160 chars) — the snippet under the title. Be specific. Mention what people will find.

The live preview shows how your page will appear in Google.

💡 Tip: Include your name + niche + 1 emotional word. Bad: 'My links'. Good: 'Alice Dupont — sustainable fashion designer · Paris atelier'.

  6. Step 6

    Share everywhere

Replace your existing bio link on:

    • Instagram
    • TikTok
    • X / Twitter
    • YouTube channel
    • LinkedIn
    • Email signature
    • Business cards
    • Podcast bio
    • Press kit

💡 Tip: Your old Linktree link stays live — you don't have to delete it. Test SimpleLink for a week before switching everywhere.

  7. Step 7

    Track and improve

Visit the Analytics page from your dashboard. See:

    • Clicks per link (which link works, which doesn't)
    • Top referrers (Instagram vs TikTok vs Google) — know where your audience comes from
    • Device breakdown (mobile vs desktop)
    • 7-day click trend chart

💡 Tip: Move your best-performing link to position #1 every week. Small change, big impact on conversions.
